STEGOSAURUS PREHISTORIC KINGDOM SKIN
Personal favourite skin is probably the 'Dauntless' variant of Smilodon populator. It's a beautiful and comfortable middle grounds, and feels really evocative of the works you'd be familiar with things like All Yesterdays.

So I doubt we'll get, say, a JP3 or generally big predatory theropod Spino, but a very fantastic looking one or with a skin evocative of how it was coloured in that film, definitely. Also maybe a Dimetrodon-Yes I'm Rambling, This Game Is Just Making Me Feel Like An Eager Kid lol), but they definitely are aiming to have a 'cool' and speculative approach to portraying the various prehistoric animals (most notably in the form of a shaggy coated Pachyrhinosaurus perotorum)l while balancing with proper understanding of how animals just. Am almost dead certain we'll get terror birds or two, if for no other reason then 'we got Nigel Marvin, if course we have to get animals from Prehistoric Park in here' ( GOD, A DEINOSUCHUS ENCLOSURE,). Worlds stretchiest definition of kinda, in so far as "they like their speculative stuff", but I'm standing by it.ĭefinitely gearing for more accurate portrayals of the dinosaurs and prehistoric animals in general (Wooly Rhicoeros with the hump stripe we know they had from consisten cave-art depictions - also, as an aside and speaking of non-dinosaurid animals, really hope we can get some weird Eocene-Miocene animals to round out the roster so it's not just dinosaurs and now I begin rambling about various animals I just am clamoring to hope we can see, aaaa- A trunked Macrauchenia or Paracatherium is on my wish list Uintatherium as a " holy shit what if-" pipe dream. I don't think that's too unreasonable of a goal, and Planet Zoo has proven you can generate money by releasing steady DLC's if your audience is big enough.Ĭlick to shrink. They're kinda doing that already. Which would have added dodos, elephant birds, steller's sea cow, and others. PS: I really hope this project is successful enough that the team feels open to adding the "Recently Extinct Animals" stretch goal as a DLC. If you want to learn more here are three links below. What do you guys think? A promising look for a smaller studio game or something you'll avoid? I'm really looking forward to the reviews for this and am hoping this game doesn't disappoint. Not so sure about building customization though, there wasn't much when I played the demo a few years back, so while the trailer says the buildings can be customized I'd wait and see.Īs it is, unless they've cut back extensively when I wasn't looking, the game is a mixture of extinct animals from different periods with aquatic and flying animals to be thrown into the mix later. Now I'm not saying it's as customizable as PZ, what game is, but its terrain editor and plant placement are open a lot more to people willing to spend an hour or so getting that hill juuuuust right.

That said, unless Prehistoric Kingdom has changed significantly from the demo, this game's customization is a lot more in line with Planet Zoo than JWE. I also remember being kind of disappointed in how off hands or even restricted JWE was, enough so that I didn't buy the sequel, and started checking up on this project more. It's a game that hasn't gotten much attention I feel, mainly because it was unfortunate enough to start its production right before Jurassic World Evolution was announced. I've followed this project from just after its start, managing to miss the Kickstarter by a day, and I even got my hands on their demo a few years back.
